Okay, enough of all the people shots...just kidding. Since I have wandered through Toronto and the downtown core I tended to focus more on my fellow photo walkers. I did stop from time to time to capture items of interest along the way though.

The Great Canadian Photo Walk - Toronto
Okay, this weekend was a little different. It was a regularly scheduled Toronto photo walk, but there was another social group in town. I have run across a few interesting characters on Google +. All great photographers, with even greater senses of humour. About a month or so ago, one character said she was coming to Toronto, so a few Torontonians decided to have a photo walk to welcome her. Well, all the local and not so local characters popped out of the wood work to join in.
We met in front of City Hall and had a full day planned ahead of us. We wandered the downtown core, through China town and Kensington Market, and finally out to the Toronto Islands for some night shots of the skyline. It was a day of laughter and a tiring day as well. My legs are still aching from all the walking that was done. Totally worth it.
As well, I got to meet some of these "infamous" characters in real life. And no, most of it is not just an internet persona. I will say this much, the next chance I get, I am getting together with the lot of them. Now on to the first batch of pictures.

365 Project Update
Okay, been slacking again on posting pictures. Last time I saw I posted the latest on my 365 project. As well it was into the second week. Well, here's week three with pictures and ponderings....
365-14: Solution
Earlier I mentioned that I needed more exercise. This is one way to achieve it. My bicycle and me are getting reacquainted after too many years of gathering dust.
365-15: Vile Habit
Yes, I am a smoker. One other thing that I am going to need to eliminate from my life. I am working on this at the moment. Steps at a time.
365-16: Remains
They reached up to the sky. Remembering where they once stood, towering over the city. Slowly they rust away, remaining nothing but forgotten memories.
365-17:Swing
Tempting, so tempting to just hop on and have fun. Alas, I was in a rush that day. Maybe next time.
365-18: Laundry
I really have to get a grip and start folding my laundry when it's done and clean.
365-19: Night Part 1
So there I was thinking....Damn, almost forgot to take a shot today. Out side I go and catch the side lights...
365-20: Rain
Rain, rain, go away. Come again some other day.

For the Birds...
Okay, it's been a little while since my last post. Like I have said before, just because I am not posting doesn't mean that I am not walking and shooting pictures. A couple Saturdays ago a few friends and I went to Tommy Thompson Park on the lakeshore. We were doing a recon for a photography workshop this past weekend. Saw a lot of great birds, scenery, and other stuff. Today, I am just focusing on the birds. Some aren't "captioned" because I am not a birder and haven't gone digging and hunting for proper names. In the meantime, enjoy the nice shots. having a telephoto lens rocks for situations like this.
