Okay, the new camera I have been experimenting with has a video function. That of course means that I must learn and experiment with this new ability in order to master it. Of course this means that you all are going to be subjected to bad videos once in awhile until my technique and skill improves. I give you the four videos shot on the New Years weekend as examples....
First, from Dora Keogh Pub...
Now from the Polar Bear Dip....
I have much to learn. One thing I have to learn? Keeping my mouth shut when taping things.

New Years Eve
Okay, I decided to go out for once in a long time on New Years Eve. For the past years I have either stayed home or gone to a friends place. Mostly stayed home. This year a friend invited me out to a pub with a band playing. I was promised photographic opportunities. Oh, and there was no cover. Two things I like in a night out, bands, and no cover. I always find picture opportunities no matter what.
The Dora Keogh seemed to have an authentic Irish set up. At least that was the reason for the low seats. The band was one I had seen down in Kensington Market on one of the Pedestrian Sundays, so I knew I was in for a treat. Met some walking friends and we had a great night. Hope the rest of the year is as good.
