After almost a hundred photo walks (the group passed the landmark a couple weeks ago), you tend to cover the same ground eventually. At least we get different weather, sometimes things have changed, or who knows what's new we will see.
Been distracted lately again. Then again, I was even more picky about the pictures I chose to post. Going to be happening more I think.
After I shot the pictures of the cherry blossoms I biked over to the lunch stop, locked my bike up and wandered up to our meeting point for the start of our walk. I think this was an area that we hadn't covered yet in our photo walks. The start point was an end point last year though. Tends to happen.
We walked through an older neighborhood that had a lot of hills, houses, and beautiful spring shots. It was a big change from the walk two weeks previous.
We wallowed in the spring temperatures and beauty.
After lunch we staggered along Bloor and eventually zig-zagging down towards Dundas. It wasn't our usual drunken stagger from lunch, our lunch stop was dry, it was more due to the strong gusting winds. At one point we did find a respite from the wind, and the sun was as warm as could be. I will let you guess where that spot was.
After the group shot people were looking forward to a warm lunch. So it was time to start making our way to the lunch stop. Due to getting confused and muddled earlier, I was given the map and allowed to lead the group. My goal was to get people to lunch on time and safe. Well we managed that, though there were parts of the map that weren't followed. Food beckoned....
Oh, BTW, expect some odd "poetry" posts in the near future. *evil cackling*
