After relaxing down at the waters edge, and taking pictures of course, it was time to start moving again. One of my friends remembered a trail that she and her son used to walk on many years ago. So we went and found it and sauntered into and around the forest. The sun was also starting to set and it was time to head back to the big city. It was a good day and an enjoyable experience. There's talk of returning in the spring and seeing it all over again. I am definitely up for a road trip like that.
Okay, I was a little tried yesterday. All the fresh air I got on Sunday. Couple friends and I went on a road trip to Central Ontario. "What's up there?", you may say. Well nothing really except a lot of nature, and scenery. After all it is autumn and we haven't started to get a lot of the good colours here in Toronto. So early in the morning we met, and headed north. One location was planned but we needed a bit more. So since I was from that neck of the woods, almost literally, I suggested dropping in at Wye Marsh. Wet lands, animals, scenery, a great start for the day. So after a two hour drive we arrived and started walking and taking pictures. A lot of good scenery and a few surprises to see.
