After the morning group shot, breakfast, and settling out, it was time to go walking. After much consultation of the park map we found a route that started not to far from our camp site. It wasn't that long of a route really. Just enough for the morning and it would take us down to the beach. The morning was quiet, although we did run across a few other people on the trail.
After relaxing down at the waters edge, and taking pictures of course, it was time to start moving again. One of my friends remembered a trail that she and her son used to walk on many years ago. So we went and found it and sauntered into and around the forest. The sun was also starting to set and it was time to head back to the big city. It was a good day and an enjoyable experience. There's talk of returning in the spring and seeing it all over again. I am definitely up for a road trip like that.
After lunch it was back to the ravine system for a short bit before heading east to Yonge Street. It was a short trip of discovery. Insects, skins, trees, and a fox. That's right, an honest to goodness wild fox. Made the day for all those that showed up.
Foxy pictures huh? :)
