Dog and Picture Therapy

Well, I have been a little lax this past week with posting. After last weekend with the G20 and everything I have been a little tired and lazy. Anyway, on Monday evening I was dragged out for a little relaxation at a local field with my friend Susie G and Nietzsche. Call it Dog therapy. Beer was also involved. I ended up getting some great pictures out of it.

I think I will be up to speed next week.

Nietzsche: Playing With Frisbee

Good morning and Happy April Fools Day. No pranks today, don't feel up to it. Just dogs playing around and having fun. I was out last Sunday afternoon with SusieG and Nietzsche down in a football field. He didn't find any sticks, but he did find a frisbee. Of course he took to it with full gusto. He did have difficulties trying to catch it on the fly, of course sometimes it was our fault trying to through the thing. We got better, and it was all up to him.

Of course he had some timing issues at first.

Eventually he managed to snag it on the fly.

Then there were the few times that it landed before he could catch it. Trying to pick up a flat disc did pose a few difficulties for him.

At least he had fun chasing it, always good to tire him out. Anyway, that's it for today. See you all tomorrow and try not to get pranked too often today.

"Fly Witt Me" Video Shoot: Behind the Scenes, The Hair

My friend Susie G is like I have said before a Hair Stylist Extrodinare. Here are the two main girls in he video and Susie working the hair. She rocks and knows exactly what she's doing.

I got nothing now.

"Fly Witt Me" Video Shoot: Behind the Scenes

Last week I was asked by my friend SusieG if I would be willing to go to a video shoot being done as part of a project for another friend, Lisa, as part of their school project. I had nothing planned and said sure. Susie was going as well to do hair for the models that would be in the video. So Wednesday after work I went home, changed, gathered my gear, and went to meet with Susie for the drive down to the Trebas Institute on Dundas West and Bloor.

We arrived about 6:30 pm and I met the crew and cast and proceeded to start taking pictures. I took a lot that evening over about four hours. So in the next couple of days I will be showing different stages of the shoot. Unfortunately I had to take off early due to work and stuff. I am just waiting for the video to be finished. When it is I will link it here as well. So first off lets show everyone before they were done up by my good friend and hairstylist extrodinare SusieG.

The singer/songwriter is called Donovan, with him in these pictures is one of the models named Joa.

I can't remember this lovely lady's name, I will be working on that and will update when I do find out again.

We can't forget the director and videographer at all. (another name I forgot to write down, working on it)

Assistant and dancer.

And of course our friend Lisa P.

Now we have the cast of characters, stay tuned for what happened after wards. See you round.

Jumping Dog

Neat thing I like about a great DSLR like the Nikon D200 is the great action shots you can get. Case in point, Nietzsche running and jumping for a stick. The kid can get some great altitude.

It was a gray day out. I think a brighter day I would be able to get my shutter speed up to a faster setting and get less blur when he moves. He's one fast dog when he wants to be. Other notes, this was done back in November at Cherry Beach here in Toronto. Can't keep him out of the water when he gets his mind on it.

Writers Block

I sit here looking over pictures and trying to crack this writers block I have. The late November weather isn't helping. I sit here staring outside to a view similar to this:

Maybe I should focus on something like this instead:

Or even perhaps this:

Until next time.
