Toronto Photo Walks: East Meets West III

During lunch I tried a little experiment with time lapse. This was a test to see if an idea would work for something else. Needless to say it turned out well.

Now I was set for my future project. More on that tomorrow.
After lunch we tried heading back out to complete the walk. We gave it up as an exercise in wetness and went to the Burger Bar in Kensington Market for the rest of the afternoon. A short day, but worth the trek in several ways. The RackGoing Close AgainStacked Ceader LeavesWaiting Drier TimesCovered Drops Lonely Street Car Phoenix! Sorcerer

Toronto Photo Walks: East Meets West II

It was a small crowd as I said before. Made for a nice relaxing day. Especially after leading a large group two weeks before. Rainy days make for interesting walks and sometimes interesting pictures. If you remember to keep your lens covered and rain free. I think I managed fairly well this time. *wipe* *shoot*, *wipe* *shoot*. Things we do to have fun.

And finally the much anticipated lunch break at Loons Pub. A rather appropriate stop I think for the lot of us.

Toronto Photo Walks: East Meets West I

Well a couple of weeks ago we tried a grand experiment. Our photo walk group was to get together with the Missisauga photo walk group. It kinda succeeded. The walk was to start in High Park and meander around it. It is a great area to walk in. A lot of paths, scenery, the zoo, and the pond area. Usually it's a great area to walk in. This day not so much. It started raining early in the morning and didn't let up till late afternoon. Needless to say that we few that showed up, including two from the Missisauga group called it quits either at lunch or afterwards. Still it we had fun and had some interesting pictures.
