Dim Sum Walk

Last week was a little busy. Working on a couple of side projects and posting went by the way side. Then there were internet issues yesterday. At least there is somethings to post. Two Sundays ago we had one of our infamous Dim Sum walks. Meet up for brunch and then waddle out to take pictures. This particular Sunday was damp, rainy, and chill. So there was a smaller crowd to walk after the dim sum. We decided to tour the University of Toronto Campus. A lot of the architecture lends itself to a dim, rainy day. A good day for pictures never the less.

Well, as I said before it was wet. I used the opportunity to get a little creative with some "zooming" shots. Eventually we gave up and headed to the pub down on Queen St. When we got to the one we were planning on going to it was closed so we had to trek over the Don River to find one that was open. If you are in the Queen and Broadview area, I recommend Prohibition. Nice atmosphere, and great food. Beer, it's always good.













Point of information. My coat gained five pounds over the walk and took three days to completely dry.

Well after the farm we moved onto the Necropolis right across the street. We were moving a little faster then normal due to the miserable weather. As well there were a lot of paths in the farm that were roped off due to snow and ice. If you are going to take pictures in a grave yard, dawn, dusk, and rain are the perfect times to do so if you want a spooky effect. We just had the rain and mist.

Nothing to say today. Raining here still, which is rather appropriate for the photos of rain and stuff. It's also Friday and the weekend beckons. So enjoy what I have brought.
