Last year the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) finished renovations of the building. A lot of work was done inside and outside to spruce the place up. I managed to get a look inside during the grand re-opening, but I didn't really get any pictures. Art galleries tend to frown on flash photography for some reason. I may return to the inside when I get a 50mm lens. The outside of the building though is lovely. A huge glass wall that helps illuminate the inside of part of it and looks like a work of art in itself. So here's a bunch of shots of the exterior. At the end I will show some pictures I took last year with my old camera while the construction phase was going on.
And now from the construction period...
Okay so the construction was almost complete at that time. I should have been walking and exploring more back then...
