Along the way I got distracted by a playground. Not just any playground though, an old style of playground. Metal climbing apparatus, metal slides, and wood chip covered ground. These types are an endangered, and almost extinct species. Of course I had to play around in it for a bit. Unfortunately I am too large these days to really appreciate it. Still, I did my best.

Those were some really fine photos - great use of color, light and shadow. But I had to laugh at the idea of those being "old time" playgrounds!
I had monkey bars, and these sorta mini-hurdles type of stuff, all of it steel and little if any color! The rest (well, OK, we did have swings and slides, also always made of steel or aluminum) was left up to our imagination.
Still just some fine photos, my friend, really EXCELLENT use of shadow and light!
