Time to wrap this up and move onto other events. From King and University to Betty's. A nice day over all. A bit cold mind you, but the views and company was worth every minute. I wish I had taken notes on more of the works that I heard Kim, the leader for the day, talk about. There is more to the sculptures then meets the eye.
Till tomorrow.
Don't forget. The "Balloons" show is still on going. Playful Grounds is the location at 605 College St Toronto. Swing by, have a coffee and enjoy the works.
Okay, last of the batch and walk. After wandering for a bit the search was on for a pub. The ones in the Distillery district were very packed and had long wait times. There was a patio serving beer, but part of the pub idea was getting warm. So off to Betty's we went. Taking pictures along the way.
One neat thing. A friend was out side having a smoke and came back in showing a picture of a car that was in front of the bar. Needless to say I grabbed my camera and headed out to grab some shots. Later on I found out that it was a 1952 Chevy. Don't know the exact model...
Well that's it for the week. Don't know when I will be posting next over the coming week. Just a couple things....
MerryChristmas and HappyHanukkah to all my readers and followers.
Well I am tapped out with Jedi, Sith, and light sabers, so I will go back a week or so and look at "normal" folks. End of July and our usual Flickr meetup of cameras, people, and whatever else we can do. This time it was at Betty's down at King and Sherbourne. Patio weather is always nice for these things. I also enjoy them because of the people you meet and the different philosophies on shooting pictures. Speaking of which....
