Time to bid the salmon farewell and continue down the Humber trail. Past the scenery, past the movie shoot, back onto the streets and grab a beer by the Ukranian street festival and rest our aching feet. It was a good day.
Well it was a rush. Off to the Island light house, one of the oldest still standing ones in Canada, then off to the ferry. Light was failing and the ferry was going to be going to an hour schedule if we didn't catch the next one. Talk about moving.
Off the boat, and off to the pub for some relaxation and food to re-energize us for the trip home....
Well, it looks like I am out of pictures this week early. It was a short walk. By the time we got to Church and Front streets it was not just threatening rain, but starting to come down in spurts and spats. Promises of worse to come. We took our pictures of the Flat Iron building and then proceeded into a local pub called C'est What. Wonderful place, mostly draft beer and all craft brew. I think I tried about five different kinds.
Well It was lunch and beer time at the Dogs Bollocks. Great place, cheap beer, and good food. All thirty of us jammed in for stoking up the engines. Poor server.
That was the Horde, as I like to call our group some of the time. Here's the food.
Well, after lunch we carried on our merry way down Queen St. West.
That's it for today. Back at it tomorrow.
