Today I didn't know what to write or display. So after drinking a few coffees, waking up fully, and looking through past pictures I came up with a theme and some cool shots. these pictures were done a couple of years ago and with my old point and shoot. Being in the right spot even with a minimal camera can still lead to some great shots.
For example, I was in the west end of the city on a beautiful day and was right on the final approach path for Pearson International Airport. The planes seemed to hang in the sky as they made their to perfect landings.
Of course there is the time I flew out west and was in great form. I like plane trips because of the altitude, you can see for horizons. Other then that plane rides are boring and about as much fun as a inter-city bus ride. About as much leg room as well. But the views, I mean isn't that what it's all about?
One day I think I will talk a few friends in chartering a plane ride over the city of Toronto. Grab our cameras and just go nuts. I mean, why not? Life is for living isn't it?

Mardi Gras Cake
Okay, okay, I know Mardi Gras was a couple of months ago. I was going through my picture files and realized that a.) I hadn't uploaded a certain portion of those pictures and b.) I had no other topic to pick. So better late then never, and we will have cake! Eventually, maybe tomorrow, maybe Thursday, we will see. Meanwhile lets start with the process of getting to said cake decorating.
I guess one thing about cake decorating I love is the bright colours used.

Nietzsche In Spring
Once again it's a return to my most documented subject. Every now and then I get some great light, and great action. Then there's times where I am a one man show. I love Chuckits™. They give me time to throw a ball and get the camera set up for picture or two. Last Tuesday I was out giving him some exercise and attention because SusieG was a little tied up at work. It's always fun when we can hang together and get some male bonding in. Oh yeah, it's been two years since Wednesday since he came into my life. How time flies.
And I think this little fellow is a newish friend. At least I haven't seen him around before. Nietzsche gets along so well with smaller dogs.

Rainy Days
Some days are bright and sunlit, other days not so much. Believe it or not rainy days can bring out some great pictures if you keep your eyes open and mind prepared.
This one is a good example of "bokeh", essentially a out of focus background. Need a proper lens to really have some fun with that technique.
More rain pictures and this is it for me chatting.

SQUIRREL!...The Return.
I still have been taking pictures of squirrels, or tree rats as some people call them. Had the opportunity to use a good zoom lens on some so I was able to get real close to them. Others were still at a distance. I will say this much, getting pictures of squirrels is good practice for stalking sometimes.
I mean you can get really close with a good zoom lens...
