Toronto Photo Walks: Downtown Sculpture I
Right, from March all the way back to January. See, I am getting caught up. Sorta. My schedule hasn't been the greatest when it comes to meshing with photo walks. I will be putting some effort into it in the coming months. After all spring is around the corner and soon enough, summer. This walk though was in the cold days of January. Bitter cold, and a lot of snow. We still had a decent crowd show up for this walk.
We started at University and Front and made our way west, aiming for most of the sculptures along the way. One person (insert name here) leading the walk was very knowledgeable about most of the works and sometimes the background good or bad of each piece. I should have taken notes.

Where is this fantastic Mountain sculpture? I'm new to Toronto and always looking for fantastic public art - this fits the bill.

This piece can be found downtown on Front street between John and Simcoe. Just east of the CBC building. There are a couple pieces in that vicinity as well.
