I gotta say it, if I haven't said it before. I love shooting the CNE at night. You get to do all sorts of fun stuff with long exposures with crowds, rides, flash photography, it sometimes blows the mind. When the sun sets, and the rides light up, photographers come out to play. One person actually stopped me and asked if we were promoting Nikon gear. It turns out that no matter where he turned there were people setting Nikon cameras on tripods or on their neck straps. Us Nikon users for the group were out in force that day. Not saying it's the best camera, just the best one I had in my hand.
Well, not only is this the 7th part of a photo walk from over a week and a half ago. Today is the one year anniversary of my blog. That's right I have been posting pictures, good and bad, for a whole year now. Yah me!!! So here's some more long exposures, night pictures, and some of the people I have hung out with since I began this journey.
This ends year one, and tomorrow begins year two...
P.S. I did catch the Snowbirds eventually, not at the EX though....
Well we were done with the farm building. I gathered up my charges and we made our way off to the food building. Grabbed some munchies, some coffee, and with a small energy boost wandered around looking for interesting subjects to shoot.
Dark and stormy skies can make for some dramatic pictures...
