And the last of the photo walk. Did a lot of shooting in the marsh area before we headed to the pub. It was a long day, but a good day. Unless things change, that's it for the week. See you after the long weekend.

Toronto Photo Walks: Pickering/Rouge Walk IV
The mouth of the Rouge River is an interesting place. The rail and pedestrian bridges, a beach, and a marsh. This location allowed me to check off one item on my photography bucket list. Lots of birds, and a lot of lily pads. I will end todays posting with my bucket list picture. Some may seem repetitive, that's what happens when you are stalking from long range.
And this is my "bucket" picture. Catching a blue heron in flight. God bless telephoto lenses.

Toronto Photo Walks: Pickering/Rouge Walk III
The walk from the Pickering GO station along the waterfront is up and down all the way. By the time you start getting into Scarborough/Toronto proper you are on top of the bluffs about a good 30 meters above the lake. A great view, and in the summer a great vantage point for the breeze. There are a lot of picnic areas here, and when we passed them by, a lot of them were full of groups enjoying the beautiful day.
