Toronto Photo Walks: Air Show 5
The air show got called early due to inclement weather. As the announcer said, when the radar turns purple it's never a good sign. Lucky for us it happened just as the A-10 Warthog was finishing his routine, unfortunately the Osprey couldn't do his. he did manage a slow fly pass on the way back to the airport though. So thus ends this years air show, which was far better then last years. Maybe next year I will get to see an entire one. Note to self, buy more and faster memory cards. You will need them....

I have a soft spot for the A-10 Warthog. The Massachusetts Air Nationa Guard had a suqadron of them based out of nearby Barnes Field- purportedly they were on their last legs at the onset of the 1st Gulf War.
ReplyDeleteAs infantry, I developed an even bigger soft for them thanks to their ability to turn Soviet Bloc armoured vehicles into charred slabs of metal
