Toronto Photo Walks: Rosedale Brick Works Part III

After almost a hundred photo walks (the group passed the landmark a couple weeks ago), you tend to cover the same ground eventually. At least we get different weather, sometimes things have changed, or who knows what's new we will see.

Toronto Photo Walks: Rosedale Brick Works Part II

It was a good day to be wandering the ravines and parks. Great light. Challenging shots. Of course, good company too.

Toronto Photo Walks: Rosedale Brick Works Part 1

This is a tragic tale. I went for this walk back in the middle of June and showed up for the after lunch portion in the Brick Works down in the Don Valley. Two cameras, lenses and memory cards. Shot some pictures in the Brick Works and then we headed up into Rosedale area.

The tragedy? half way through the afternoon, I go to take a picture with one camera and suddenly the memory card is corrupted. All the pictures from the Brick Works, lost and unrecoverable. Changed cards and carried on. At least I was using both cameras so I did have some pictures to save and post. So the afternoon portion of the walk with only some of the total pictures taken.

There was nothing to be done about the lose unfortunately.

The Great Canadian Photo Walk II Part 3

Toronto Islands may appear to be small, but they are packed with so much to see. Great views of the Toronto skyline, wild life, nature and trees. Not to mention pockets of sights here and there that will have you looking for more of them. One reason why I try to go there at least once a year in the spring or summer. Perhaps I should take the time and go there in the winter to see the sights then.
