Walking It Old School 2

Well, another roll of film is up and running. Finishing off the previous roll of B&W as well. I guess that's one thing about film you miss. The mystery of what you took and how it turned out. No instant gratification, no "hold on, I screwed up", just a pray and shoot. Maybe a week or two later, longer sometimes, you see how and what you did. Good thing I learned a lot with my digital before stepping back into film.

Walking It Old School

So, I was thinking. Several months ago actually. Why not go back into film? Get back to the roots of the whole thing. Or as some of my friends have said, "Step back a bit from the dark side". I was looking for an old school camera on my China trip, but no such luck. I did stumble across an older Minolta though about a month or so ago. A Minolta X-370 with a 50mm 1.7 lens. All you techies out there will understand what I am talking about.

Anyway. here's the results of my first roll I put through it. Starting with the bad and working my way up. Or down as the case may be.

Toronto Photo Walks: Center Island 4

Well, it looks like I am almost out of pictures for this walk. Still waiting on some other pictures to come in, but time and tides they say. Needless to say we wondered to the end of the pier and back to the ferry again before calling it a day. It was a good one over all, nice weather, good light, and lots of interesting people to see. And that was just our group.
