World Wide Photo Walk 4

The week draws to a close as does the walk. I saw some more areas of Toronto that I haven't wandered through yet. And had a great time again. As well I caught a exhibt for Nuit Blanche in Lower Bay station that's rarely open. Enjoy the pictures and I will see you all next week.

Nuit Blanche: 2010 Part 3

Sorry about no posting yesterday. Been distracted by a few things. Where were we? Yes, just at Bloor and Yonge. We decided to go to Ossington and Queen to check out some other exhibits that one of my friends had wanted to see, so onto the subway and we were off. One was called "Take a Picture". Apparently they had blank canvases that revealed something when you took a picture of them.

We made it there eventually and when I tried to take a picture I saw nothing. The person who had created it told me that my camera was too good for the display. He did demonstrate it with his iPhone and I took some pictures of that instead.




Down to Queen street after ward to look for a few other set ups. This street was way crowded and packed as well. The next one was called "Knit World"







The next one was set in an art gallery type space. We walked up stairs and saw a bunch of people drawing a tableau in the center of the space.

Finally be before we called it a night, it was getting too crazy at this time, we saw another projection upon a building of some old school video game.




And the bus ride home took hours. Next year? Maybe I will go....

Nuit Blanche: 2010 Part 2

Well we wandered up Bay st, and then ducked across to Yonge on Dundas. Well, we turned around when we saw how busy it was. On the way back to Bay we ran across a mobile street rave that was jamming up the street. Performance art, what can you say? On the way up to Bloor there were some interesting lights and stuff that were normal but in the photographic mood they would do nicely. We stopped for coffee then continued up to Bloor and eventually to Yonge to see the Kortune Fookie.
