The Great Canadian Photo Walk II Part 3
Toronto Islands may appear to be small, but they are packed with so much to see. Great views of the Toronto skyline, wild life, nature and trees. Not to mention pockets of sights here and there that will have you looking for more of them. One reason why I try to go there at least once a year in the spring or summer. Perhaps I should take the time and go there in the winter to see the sights then.

The Great Canadian Photo Walk II Part 2
After lunch we started the photo walk proper. Of course the first thing that happens with almost any walk I have been on, people got separated. We wondered here, wandered there, and before you knew it we had gone our separate ways. We managed to meet up at a few spots, wandered some more. Generally making our way west to the main islands. Good thing I wasn't leading this photo walk. It gave the expression "herding cats" a whole new meaning. Then again, typical photo walk behavior.

The Great Canadian Photo Walk II
*tap tap tap*
Hello?
Anyone still following out there? Sorry about that. A combination of malaise and technical difficulties have kept me from posting. You will be happy to see that I have returned. For a little while at the least.
*checks listings*
Okay so it's almost been three months since my last blog post. Yeah, I will be getting into that eventually.
Anyway. Back around the end of May, a bunch of us that have met from Google + got together for our second large photo walk. People from all across Ontario, some from Quebec, and a couple from parts west and south. A good group of people online and even better in real life. This year we were wandering the Toronto Islands for the day. I got there early and ended up at the wrong start point. Hoofed it to the correct meeting point and then we wandered over to the Rectory Cafe for lunch. One word of warning. They don't serve french fries or other deep fried goods. Oh, right. You folks want pictures. Coming right up.
