Xian China Museum
The Small Wild Goose Pagoda grounds also contains a museum. Here they have pottery, jade, and other items from the cities past. There's a large model of the Tang dynasty palace, a map of the city, and other items. We were a little rushed so we couldn't spend as much time as we wanted in the museum. The whole area is about a good half day to just explore the garden as well. A quick stop back at the market near the Drum Tower and we were on our way again. Next stop Chengdu and Sichuan province.

China: Small Wild Goose Pagoda
First off, I will be experimenting with a new photo hosting service. Well, newish to me. Depending on how it goes I may be using more of it in the coming weeks. Now PSA out of the way on to the continuing adventures in China.
After we were all packed on the next day, we had some time to spare. My mom wanted to head to the Muslim Market before we left, as well we had some more sight seeing to do. The Small Wild Goose Pagoda was nice brisk walk from our hotel. So instead of hanging out and doing nothing, we checked out, stored our bags, and went for a walk. Most temples and areas I saw had parks around them. People would come in to do exercise, wander, or socialize from what I saw. There were the tourists like us, and the tourists from other parts of China. It was relaxing to be away from the hustle and bustle of the streets.

China: Dinner and Show 2
I can't repeat myself often enough. If ever in Xi'an, you have to check out the Tang Dynasty Dinner and Show. Worth the price of admission, and the pageantry is wonderful. You do have to realize that it's a glorified, and sanitized, version of the Tang era. It's still good for the broad sense of the time and people.
