Toronto Photo Walks: Bloordale and Dufferingrove III

After the group shot people were looking forward to a warm lunch. So it was time to start making our way to the lunch stop. Due to getting confused and muddled earlier, I was given the map and allowed to lead the group. My goal was to get people to lunch on time and safe. Well we managed that, though there were parts of the map that weren't followed. Food beckoned....

February Dim Sum Walk

Beginning of February. Yep, I am still catching up here. Dim sum is always a good time to head out and meet up with friends. Load up on the dumplings and other tasty treats, don't fear the turnip cake, then head out to see the local areas. Sometimes we head to Kensington Market, other times it's up town. This time we headed towards the waterfront. A change of view is nice at times. It was a cold day, bright, and clear at the start.

Toronto Photo Walks: Jane Runnymede Loop I

Okay it's been awhile since I last posted. The December/January blahs hit me pretty hard and I haven't been up to posting much. Bright side is that I haven't really stopped taking pictures so I have a backlog to post now. So, on December 7 we did a little walk in the High Park Junction area. I met up with the group for lunch at the Yellow Griffin.
Had a "Burning School House Burger", and went on the way with a small group. Other people had plans, the weather was cold and wet. Usual stuff really.

After Casa Loma we wandered further north. A stop for some lunch to refuel and back on the streets again. We headed over to Spadina and walked north from there. The gorgeous light of the morning slowly made way to the overcast and rain that was forecast earlier. As well we were slowly loosing people that had other commitments that day.
