Junction Music Fest
Between photo walks some of my friends talk me into going into other places. Or in some cases back to an area we just visited. So, between the Humber walk and Kensington walk, I returned to the Junction for a music festival. Sorta. There was some music, some dancing, but nothing really interesting that grabbed my attention musically. Same with my friends. So we just wandered looking for something that we missed the previous week.

Toronto Photo Walks: Humber River II
Forgive me, I have been rather down for the past little while. So I am back for a little bit and got some more pictures ready to roll. Continuing with the Humber River and Junction walk. Going back and looking at these pictures from a couple weeks ago, it was a nice day. Need to keep that in mind. Lots of things to see, and caught some salmon starting the trek up the Humber river. More of those in later posts as well.
Onwards.

Toronto Photo Walks: Humber River
Good Morning one and all. Saturday was a photo walk day and the last Saturday of summer. A gorgeous day to be outside. I only managed to go on the afternoon portion of this walk due to meeting another friend earlier on. More about that later hopefully.
Anyway this was a walk through the Junction on Dundas West and down the Humber River. A long walk with some interesting things to see, and a few spots of nothing. Sometimes that's the way it goes. So, onward.

Old Buildings, Old Advertisments part 2
Found a few more examples of the old stuff. I guess you could say that I am documenting them for posterity. Eventually they will fade away, or the building will be torn down. Part of our history and culture. I hope people have better examples when they weren't so worn out.

As you can see with this one, the graffiti "artists" are starting their version of urban renewal.

I think this one says "Adams Furniture", almost gone. These two pictures are from "The Junction" in Toronto's west end.

I remember when I lived in Toronto there used to be a factory for Tip Top Tailors. Down at the base of Bathurst street. One of my cousins friends mother worked there and could make a shirt in less then a minute. Mind boggling.

I took an earlier picture with my old camera. This one is a better shot of this advertisement. You see a lot of history when you are out walking. You just have to recognize it.
