Toronto Photo Walks: Seasonal Lights 3

It was a cold night out. The lights were pretty but we ended up cutting the walk short and heading to the pub. There we drank beer, ate food, and compared camera tips. As well showed off techniques to fellow photographers. Every now and then we managed to capture someone who wasn't part of the group in a picture.

Just a few more portraits. So far the response from most of my friends has been positive. I like it when I do something well. Of course, I could do things better, eventually, with more practice. I think I will be hunting for more victims to get this whole flash lighting down. In the meantime. We will start off with Me. Someone suckered me into standing in front of the camera.

Toronto Photo Walks: Year 2 Anniversary

Okay, I have been a sluggard here. Back on November the 12th we held our 2nd year anniversary/Christmas party downtown. That's right, Toronto Photo Walks is over 2 years old now. Needless we didn't have a walk that day and went straight to the pub. 3 Brewers pub that is, just south of Dundas and Yonge. Got to love a great brew pub. Anyway, I was in charge of the slide show this year, and I brought along some of my lighting gear. I figured I would try to grab as many portraits as possible of fellow photo walkers just to share with them and show who my companions are off and on. Despite feeling a little sick still, it was a decent night. Of course due to connectivity issues, the slide show was hit or miss. Over all, it was a success. Can't wait till next year.

Slacking again I see. Well, not much about it except to keep on getting the pictures up. I will try and keep things going this week, and perhaps some pictures from China by the end. In the meantime, fountains, buildings, dogs, and lunch...More from the last photo walk of course...


























Oh, lunch was at a place called 3 Brewers on Yonge street. Good food and good micro brews they have on tape. I preferred the Blonde myself....
